1. Registration
The last date for registration is 1st August 2025.
The Fun Run is a 3 km race designed to acquaint participants with the joy of running while appreciating the scenic surroundings. The event welcomes individuals, friends, families, and anyone interested in taking part in the run.
The “Accessibility Vertical” of CII Young Indians Trivandrum presents the 2KM SUPER RUN to provide an unprecedented support and an opportunity for people with functional disabilities and their assistants to participate in this year’s iCloudHomes Kovalam Marathon 2025.
By making this Marathon an inclusive event, we aim to promote inclusivity, feeling of empowerment and awareness in general on the importance of an inclusive society. We are partnering with institutions in Trivandrum for their participation.
Please note that race kits must be collected at the race expo, which takes place the day before the race (13/09/2025). Race kits will not be distributed to participants on the race day.
We regret to inform you that refund requests will not be entertained once registration has been completed.
Until September 13th, 2025, participants have the option to switch their race category from the Family Fun Run to the Half Marathon or Full Marathon by paying the remaining balance. To request a category change, please send us an email. If you wish to downgrade your category from Full Marathon to Half Marathon or from Half Marathon to Fun Run, you can also do so before September 13th, 2025. However, please note that no refunds will be provided for category downgrades.
Registration transfers are not allowed for individual participants. Each person must register themselves, except in the case of group registrations.
Upon successful registration, you will receive an email confirming your registration.
We hold a strong belief that individuals of any age can participate in running. There are no age restrictions for the Family Fun Run or the endurance events. However, for the full and half marathon, we may require either proof of prior completion of a similar event or assurance that you have adequately trained for the race.
Participants must be 18 years old or above to take part in the Half Marathon (21.1K) and Full Marathon categories. For the 10K, participants must be above 14 years old and 3K Fun Run, individuals from the age of 10 years are eligible. Children aged 10-14 must be accompanied by their parents during the event.
No registrations will be accepted on the day of the race.

When?
Bib distribution will be held on Saturday, 13th September 2025, from 10 AM to 05:00 PM.
Note:
– Confirmed runners must come personally to pick up their bibs at the Expo. Please bring your confirmation message or ticket as well as your valid identification card.
– Bibs will not be posted to individual addresses nor distributed on race day.
A copy of your photo ID, an authorization letter, and a confirmation message or email will be required to collect your race kit from the authorized person.
3. Getting to the Race

To reach Kovalam Grove Beach from Trivandrum City, you have a few transportation options available:
–Taxi/Cab: The most convenient and direct way to reach Kovalam Grove Beach is by hiring a taxi or cab from Trivandrum City. Taxis can be found at designated taxi stands or arranged through local taxi services. It is advisable to negotiate the fare or use a metered taxi for a fair price.
– Auto-Rickshaw: Auto-rickshaws, commonly known as “autos,” are a popular mode of transportation in Trivandrum. You can hire an auto-rickshaw to reach Kovalam Grove Beach from the city. It’s recommended to negotiate the fare beforehand or insist on using the meter.
– Bus: Trivandrum has a well-connected public transport network, and you can take a bus from the city to reach Kovalam. Look for buses heading towards Kovalam or those passing through the Kovalam route. Public buses are a more economical option.
– Private Vehicle: If you have access to a private vehicle or are renting one, you can drive to Kovalam Grove Beach from Trivandrum. The route typically involves taking the NH66 (formerly NH47) towards Kovalam and following the signs for Kovalam Beach or Grove Beach.
It’s recommended to plan your transportation in advance and consider factors such as convenience, budget, and time of travel when deciding which mode of transportation to choose.
While we are working to secure additional parking space near the start, it is important to note that availability is limited. Therefore, we strongly encourage participants to consider carpooling or utilizing hired transportation services to reach the venue. This will help minimize congestion and ensure smoother access to the event site.
4. About The Race Course
The aid stations along the race route will be equipped with a variety of supplies, including electrolyte drinks, water, oranges, bananas, biscuits, and salt to cater to the participants’ needs.
Hydration stations and aid stations will be conveniently located along the course at intervals of approximately 3.5 kilometers to provide participants with the necessary fluids and assistance during the race.
Yes, Kovalam Marathon is a road race.
Please be advised that the course maps will be made available on the Participant Info page by July 20th. Kindly ensure to check the page for access to the maps.
All participants in the full marathon must complete the race within a time limit of 6 hours and 30 minutes. Any runners still on the course after this designated cut-off time will be requested to enter the sweep vehicle.
It is important to note that race officials and medical personnel hold the final authority in determining whether a runner must discontinue the race, and participants are expected to comply with their instructions. The cut-off time will be strictly enforced, prioritizing the safety of the runners and compliance with regulations.
On the other hand, there is no specified cut-off time for completing the Half Marathon and Fun Run categories, allowing participants to finish at their own pace without time restrictions.
